"Nice Guy" The Movie

I feel lucky that I've been able to work as an actor in other people's films and TV shows. But I've always had a dream. I've always wanted to create my own films to tell the stories that I most wanted to tell. I've noticed that many films these days project a jaded and dark depiction of people and life.  Sure, there are some not-so-great things going on in the world today but there are also many beautiful things too!

The short film that I've written called "Nice Guy" is a comedy infused with truth and reality. It's about a single guy who doesn't want to be single and some of the unexpected things that happen to him as he searches for his soulmate.

I've never done anything quite like this and the time has finally come. I started writing Nice Guy a few years ago but then a my Dad was diagnosed with cancer and so I put the pen down to support my Father and our family. Sadly we lost him, and after he passed it took me a while to be ready mentally and emotionally to pick up the script again. I'm sorry that my Dad won't be able to sit next to me and watch the finished film but I will dedicate it to him. I owe him and my Mom everything.

This year I will be submitting Nice Guy to several film festivals to boost the exposure. I plan to attend these film festivals and meet with several distributors to discuss the possibilities. Because of the cost of submissions and attendance of these film festivals, I'm continuing to raise money for the film.
